denarobles_04_22

Gotcha Sam!

Do six year old boys want to photograph with their big sisters?  Not usually…but we worked it out in the end.

denarobles_04_24

And what do 6 year old boys REALLY want to do?  Climb castle walls of course.  Have at it Sam.  You deserve it.

A little sneak peek here for Amy from our sunny afternoon at Hadleigh Castle.  Usually this much sunshine is a dilemma for portrait photographers, but living in grey England one learns to embrace the sun whenever it makes its infrequent appearances.  I am stumped to pick my favorites, Amy.  You are very photogenic and so fun to work with.

denarobles_04_04

Thank you for being willing to jump in a patch of sunny flowers for me.   I tried it again the next day on a different session….and uh, well…there were critters that day.  We got lucky!

denarobles_04_05

denarobles_04_06

Blue

April 7, 2009

I have challenged the members of my learning blog to a weekly  creative assignment, this time with the theme of Blue.  Here is my submission.  I do hope they remember to do theirs as well!

This was taken with my old uber scratched up Kodak Duaflex camera and 100 mm macro lens.

Brooke Lowther: Where can I find your learning blog?

katelyn: hey there. did you take this through the viewfinder or is this a print you got back from the lab with a black border? silly question, i know

dena: Hello. Yes, this shot is taken through the viewfinder. The learning blog is at denarobles.com/eyecandy.

Katelyn: why thank you!
