{love notes}
November 21, 2008
translation:
“to mum I love you more than I usually say. lots of love from India”
Sometimes the right thing is said at just the right moment and all is well.
Rebecca: Holy cow, is she writing cursive? Impressive! And yes, I have a feeling - wait, I *know* - that note was needed right at that moment. So glad you have sweet Indie-girl to make things right. xoxo
A bit of this and that
November 12, 2008The year end is fast approaching and I want to take a minute to thank everyone I have worked with in 2008. It has been a true pleasure to share a little moment of your lives and help create some mementos along the way. Session bookings for 2008 end December 7th, however any orders from that week will not be completed until after Christmas as I will be out seeking some much needed sunshine, sand and relaxation with my own family and friends. If you are hoping to give a christmas gift of portrait photography I can always offer gift vouchers for sessions in the new year.
I do have some exciting news to report for the new year including a brand new website, blog and new look and business name too. I will unveil the ‘new me’ in early 2009. Along with these changes will come a completely new pricing structure and product offerings as well. I can’t wait!
Also, I seem to have had a few issues lately with my phone and voicemail. I apologise for that. I am most easily reachable via email at either dena_hy@btinternet.com or denarobles@gmail.com. If you need to speak with me on the phone, please try to leave a message and if you don’t hear back from me within a day an email may be in order. I will admit that half the problem with my phone is the toddler angst and sticky fingers that are obsessed with my phone. The other half of the problem is over-my-head techno stuff. I do cameras, that’s it. LOL.
I have some more sneak peeks and session showcases to post soon, but for now will leave you with a photograph of the pesky toddler doing his best to push my buttons and get away with it. The impish grin gets me every time!

New {and improved??}
November 10, 2008Rebecca: Oh my goodness! I absolutely adore this image of your little devil. How telling it is! And can I just say I can't wait to get a healthy dose of him in about 6 weeks. Wahoo!!!
Rebecca: Oh my goodness ... look at Aidan! I can't believe how much he's grown up in the last few years alone, let alone how much he's changed since he was a little guy. Happy Birthday Aidan! We'll echo what you're mom wrote: you are so totally rockin' cool. xoxo
Patsy Dunn: Hey Cutie Patootie!! You are still one cute fellow!! And a very wise one too. I read Breaking Dawn while I was at Zion's and I did not find it that disapointing. Not perfect, but not too horrible. Love ya lots and lots. Seth lets me call him Seth-a-roni. He says only grandmas can call him that.
Anny: What a smart cookie he is! Aidan sounds like a very intelligent young man. Wandered over here from Rebecca's blog.

Rebecca: Ooh, and a happy happy birthday from the North Carolina Mudrick monkeys as well. xoxo
Patsy Dunn: And the Prineville Oregon Monkey Keepers. Happy Birthday.
