Everybody’s doing it

Have you noticed that everyone seems to own a camera lately?  We all like to photograph our children, our families, our friends, our holidays and our memories.  As much as we love our own photographs (and for good reason!) there are times when it is appropriate to call in a Pro.  Sometimes we are not qualified. Sometimes we might actually want to be IN a photograph with our children and families.  I know my own children don't have enough photographs of me, or with me.  It is kind of sad really.  And sometimes it is just easier to leave the job up to a Pro.  Even professional photographers often leave the job to other professionals.  I doubt I could be successful photographing my own wedding.  Or capturing the birth of my own child (although I do know one avid professional who photographed her own baby's birth!)  And sometimes, just sometimes…our children actually behave better for other people.  Case in point:  my children.  Tormenting me with what we call in this industry "Photographer's Child Syndrome."

This is what we know as the "I am going to act sweet but will never let you get a good one of me."  and "muuuuum, not another photograph!  Turn that camera OFF."

Then of course….the dreaded sibling shot.  Take 77.  Action!

Any of this sound familiar?  Well lucky me, I just happen to have a few connections.  A few professional photographer best buddies.  And lookie here what I get.  Wonderful, beautiful, artistic, heart melting AND cooperative photographs of my children.  With none of the fuss.  I am a Pro who knows when to call in another Pro.  So glad I did too.  Many many thanks to my friend Rebecca at Darling Art.
